It was considerably more enjoyable than BvS. I would actually watch this movie again sometime, unlike the bat murderverse. That one you just ffwd to the Wonder Woman scenes.

I won’t watch this one, because it’s not what I want to see. I want Ghostbusters 3, not a reboot.

I think that’s been the consensus, that it’s basically fine.

My understanding is that all the remaining original Ghostbusters are in it, and I wonder if they'd have been better off not doing that. Treat it like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: totally separate from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and on its own, a good movie.

Honestly, it earns a solid “meh” in my book. It’s just another Hollywood reboot, nothing amazing to see here. Even the gender swap of the characters isn’t an entirely new. I’m not entirely sure why sooo many people are butthurt about it either.

they shouldn’t of changed the Ecto-1. Should of been the same cadillac ambulance, and not a hearse like this square caddy.

the original Ecto-1 is more of a character than the actors. Just like the night rider reboot failed.

While I certainly don’t understand why you would refuse to watch a movie because you want a different one made, that’s certainly your prerogative.

I didn't think it was as good as the original, but it was a lot better than I was expecting.

Technically the original was also a hearse. Hearses and ambulances were the same cars with different trim bolted on back then.

yes and no, the ambulances had windows all around, but the hease didn’t have the rear windows. And the fact they even mention it in ghost busters 1 as an ambulance.

You’re right about them calling it an ambulance, but in regards to the windows, some hearses had them, some didn't.

Too new, too small (four people and four proton packs in that? Ha), and people (or at least I) would question how they could afford it. Honestly, I like the idea of using a hearse, I think they just chose a hearse from the wrong era (the era when they stopped looking cool).
